This collection is a reflection on the idea of bringing home with you. After living in many short-term stays over the last year, the experience of home was found in small portable objects—repositories of memory that could easily move with me. Some were gifts, souvenirs, and others were found along the way, familiarising each new space with fragments of the past in my pocket. From this, the outcomes of this collection are a mixture of woven dobby and off-loom 3D structures, constructing abstract and intuitive woven vessels. All pieces from the collection are made with light yet durable, natural materials: paper yarn, raffia, sisal fibre, dried sweet grass, and wooden beads. These woven vessels are a Large and more grounded form of the smaller, ever-moving home in my pocket.
